1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions apply to all language training courses, workshops, and services provided by English2Connect (“the Provider”).

2. Agreement and Acceptance

  • By registering for a course and/or signing a service agreement with English2Connect, the participant (or client) confirms full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • No separate agreement is required unless otherwise specified. When a signed working agreement or contract is provided, it shall prevail alongside these Terms.

3. Registration and Confirmation

  • Registration for a course becomes binding once confirmed by the Provider via email or other written communication.
  • The Provider reserves the right to refuse any registration without providing a reason.

4. Payment, Methods & Taxes

  • Course fees, including all applicable taxes, must be paid in full at least 30 days before the course start date. Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in cancellation of your registration or denial of access to the course.
  • Payments must be made via bank transfer to the account details provided upon registration.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are deemed effective only upon receipt by English2Connect via email to info@english2connect.com or other agreed written means.
  • The date of receipt determines the timing of the cancellation for refund purposes.
  • Cancellation fees apply as follows:
    – More than 30 days before the start: full refund minus administrative costs.
    – Between 14 and 30 days before the start: 50% refund.
    – Less than 14 days before the start: no refund.
  • The Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered either a full refund or alternative dates.

6. Online Course Specifics

  • Participants are responsible for having the necessary technical equipment and internet connectivity for online courses.
  • English2Connect is not liable for technical issues beyond its control.
  • Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes; participants will be informed in advance.
  • Sharing login credentials or course content outside the participant group is prohibited.

7. Course Delivery

  • The Provider aims to deliver courses as advertised but reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, trainers, or location.
  • The Provider is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation.

8. Participant Obligations

  • Participants agree to attend sessions punctually and prepared.
  • Respectful behaviour towards trainers and fellow participants is expected at all times.
  • The Provider reserves the right to exclude participants who disrupt the course or violate rules, without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, including texts, audio, video, and digital content, remain the intellectual property of the Provider.
  • Participants may not copy, distribute, or use materials beyond the scope of the course without prior permission.

10. Privacy and Use of Data

  • English2Connect collects and processes personal data necessary for course administration and communication.
  • Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Collected data may include contact details, payment information, course progress, and feedback.
  • Data will be used solely for course administration, billing, communication, and quality improvement.
  • English2Connect will not share personal data with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for service provision (e.g., payment processors).
  • Participants have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting info@english2connect.com.
  • Data is retained only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and legal obligations.

11. Complaints

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing to info@english2connect.com.
  • The Provider will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and respond substantively within 4 weeks.

12. Liability

  • The Provider’s liability is limited to direct damages resulting from proven negligence.
  • The Provider is not liable for personal injury, loss, or theft during courses or at the venue.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
  • Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The Netherlands.

14. Use of Client Logos

Clients grant English2Connect permission to use their logo on its website and promotional materials to indicate the business relationship unless the client objects in writing. This permission may be withdrawn at any time with written notice, upon which the logo will be promptly removed.
